The story so far

I grew up on stories of my dad's drive and ambition. His journey from our family town to becoming a successful entrepreneur and eventually raising a family in London, has always inspired me. He was the one who taught me to value education and dream big.

That passion for education fueled me, and eventually led me to Dartmouth, thanks to the Fulbright program. It was a chance to learn and expand my experience of a new culture. I loved every minute of my time in the US and feel incredibly fortunate to still spend time with founders in the Valley and New York.

My career to date has pivoted between technology and finance. In early 2015, I joined the Uber London team as they were scaling out operations. It was incredible to work with some of the sharpest operators on one of the first truly global applications. After stints at a hedge fund in London and Google, I realized that working with founders and building businesses is where my passion lies.

‍What should founders know about you?

At OMERS Ventures my interest lies in finding those founders and teams who are enabling the current AI revolution. As a team we are particularly excited about industry brains: AI first businesses able to combine customer and 3rd party data to create an intelligence layer for traditional industries and emergent tooling for the application layer.

I keep a keen eye on transformative ideas and want to support founders pushing the frontier of technology, I write the occasional angel cheque and have been fortunate so far in backing elevenlabs, a pioneering voice synthesis business.
