The story so far
In 2005, Michael Litt and Devon Galloway met in the Systems Design Engineering program at the University of Waterloo, Canada. In 2010 the duo created Redwoods Media which would go on to become Vidyard in 2011. Having graduated from Ycombinator and successfully raising a seed round, Vidyard went on to raise it's Series A in 2013, led by OMERS Ventures, and its Series B in 2015 and Series C in 2016 (with OV following on investments in the B and C rounds). Vidyard has consistently been ranked in Deloitte's Fast 50 and Fast 500 fastest growing technology companies in Canada.
As demand for video surges in business, Vidyard has continued its expansion of mobile video tools to complement the platform, including releasing an Android version. Vidyard is built for business. THe Vidyard platform goes beyond just video hosting and management. It helps companies connect with viewers through personalized video experiences. In addition, it then lets organizations explore analytical insights about their audience, turning those insights into action through integrations with top enterprise tools.
