The story so far

Matt Giffune, Andrew Flint, and Erik Pearson met during their tenure at VTS. In 2018, the trio co-founded Occupier with the mission of removing the uncertainty and complexity of the lease management process for tenants and tenant-rep brokers. Occupier centralizes the way real estate teams, lease accounting professionals and tenant-rep brokers work. Their transaction management, lease administration and lease accounting modules create a single-source of truth and cohesive platform to inform smarter business decisions.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Matt Giffune

Matt is a Co-Founder at Occupier and passionate about enabling tenants to take control of their real estate portfolio. Prior to co-founding Occupier, Matt was Vice President at JLL representing tenants and landlords of office, industrial and laboratory space and then moved onto becoming the National Director of Strategic Sales at VTS.

Andrew Flint

Andrew is a Co-Founder at Occupier and strategic commercial real estate powerhouse. Prior to co-founding Occupier, he advised tenants in leasing transactions while at JLL before moving on to VTS as SVP of Sales where he was responsible for scaling the revenue team throughout the company's rapid growth.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Erik Pearson

Erik Pearson is a Co-Founder and the Chief Technology Officer here at Occupier. He brings over 8 years of experience to the team and leads our engineering department. Prior to Occupier, Erik was Head of Engineering at Avenir Interactive and Senior Software Engineer at VTS. As CTO, Erik oversees all technical data infrastructure management and development of the Occupier product.
