The story so far

Interaxon is a Toronto-based innovator in the field of brain health technology. Muse, the flagship Interaxon product, is an EEG-powered BCI platform that provides innovative solutions for new products, experiences and research using a brain-computer interface.

Using advanced EEG technology, Muse is essentially a brain fitness tool that helps you refocus during the day and recover overnight. By detecting your brain activity, heart rate, breathing and body movements, Muse multi-sensor headbands provide real-time feedback through immersive meditation and sleep experiences. Muse sessions and tracking help you tune in, find calm, sharpen your focus and improve sleep. With over 14 million sessions logged with Muse, people turn to Interaxon to learn about their brainwaves, and this continues to grow.

Since Muse launched in 2014, the company has sold more portable EEG devices than any other system in history and has one of the largest brain data collections in the world. It is Interaxon's mission to enable people to live happier, healthier and more connected lives with leading brain health technologies.

Derek Luke, CEO of Interaxon has many years of experience in the highly competitive technology industry and has helped strengthen Muse's execution across design, development, sales and marketing to position the company for aggressive growth and success.
