The story so far

When Jevon MacDonald told us he was starting a new venture in early 2016 named Manifold, we were excited to learn more and discuss how OMERS Ventures could be a partner to this new company. Jevon was someone several members of our team knew well through his role as an advocate for the Canadian startup ecosystem and his track record of success as a serial entrepreneur, including his prior venture GoInstant, which was acquired by Salesforce.com in 2012.

We were thrilled to lead the Series A round in Manifold in late 2016. Operating in the white hot and rapidly evolving developer services ecosystem, Manifold partnered with a wide range of developer-centric services. In late 2020, Manifold was acquired by Snyk, a rapidly growing provider of cloud-native application security solutions.

Jevon MacDonald

Jevon is the co-founder and CEO of Manifold. Jevon has spent the last decade building high-technology businesses. Most recently, the company he Co-Founded, GoInstant, was acquired by Salesforce. Previously, he was senior partner at Dachis Group, a startup providing social business design services and technology. He joined the Dachis Group through the acquisition of his previous startup, Firestoker.com. Since then, he’s been active in multiple startups at various stages of growth and is an active angel investor.
