Birdie was founded by Max, Raj, Abeed and Gwen to fundamentally transform the process of ageing with better technology. By ensuring the right care is delivered by the right person at the right time, in a personalised and preventative way, Birdie supports the elder community in maintaining the comfort and care they need to live longer and happier at home, surrounded by their history and the ones they love. Max Parmentier

Max Parmentier is the co-founder and CEO of Birdie, a home healthcare digital platform currently supports millions of home visits through care providers every month. Previously, Max founded and scaled up a global e-marketplace spin-off from the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, funded and supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This platform is now accessible to 80 countries and transacting $1bn worth of commodities. He also worked at the UN and in small start-ups, and spent 4 years at McKinsey as a manager supporting clients in their strategies on climate change mitigation, deforestation and bio-energy.
