The story so far

Founder Jordan Satok started AppHero when he was just 17, and officially founded the company in 2011 with the goal of helping people discover great apps and games. Since its launch, AppHero developed a personalized recommendation platform to provide unique recommendations to consumers based on the apps they already had, their social profiles and their interests. Beginning as a pure play discovery network, suggesting mobile software to users, AppHero was designed to survey what kinds of apps a user already has and then make intelligent predictions about what else they might be inclined to download – taking into account that if you already have an excellent grocery list app, for instance, you’re not likely to want to get another one. AppHero was acquired by Fuse Powered Inc. in 2013. Fuse Powered is the innovative force behind Fuseboxx™, an end-to-end integrated mobile app publishing platform that provides actionable analytics and a powerful advertising platform to the world’s leading publishers and developers. OMERS Ventures invested in AppHero in 2015.
