Investment Team

In his role as Venture Partner at OMERS Ventures, Howard Gwin is responsible for leading investment activities in the North America market focusing on high-growth companies in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. He has experience in every major software industry segment.

Prior to joining OMERS Ventures, Howard established a track record as a widely-respected technology company operator. He has helped more than 25 public and private firms to build, scale and drive successful outcomes in the roles of senior operating executive, Corporate Director, Chairman and Operating Chairman.

In addition to an MD role with a Silicon Valley based venture capital firm, Howard has also served as President at Solect Technology Group, which was sold to Amdocs Inc. for US$1.2 billion, EVP Worldwide Operations at Peoplesoft Inc., and in progressively senior roles at IBM and Xerox.

Howard holds a Bachelor of Administration Degree from British Columbia’s Simon Fraser University.
